Teach with impact
Your 200 hour taught you how to teach a Yoga class. This year teaches you how to teach the room. The 300 hour is for teachers who have felt the ceiling of their first training, who want to stop reciting sequences and start responding to the actual human beings in front of them.
Some trainings ask you to trust the teacher. We teach you to trust yourself.
Here is how it works:
One immersive weekend each month, January through December 2027, here in the Okanagan. Between weekends, a monthly evening integration call keeps the cohort connected and the integration alive. August is off entirely, because rest is part of the curriculum.
You graduate with your RYT 500, documented teaching hours, and a written plan for your first year of teaching at this level.
The Difference is in the Why
What makes this training different is the same thing that makes our 200 hour different: every module pairs traditional Yoga teaching with named, peer-reviewed research. When we teach the therapeutic applications of Yoga, we teach you why Yoga is recommended as a first line therapy for chronic low back pain by the American College of Physicians (Qaseem et al., 2017, Annals of Internal Medicine). When we teach the nervous system, you learn why a slow exhale changes the room, not just that it does. And when we turn to philosophy, we bring the same intellectual seriousness a comparative religion course would, honouring where these teachings come from without flattening them into wellness slogans.
Lead Teachers

Josée Jarratt, MSW, RYT 500, YACEP
You will spend the year with two lead teachers in the room. Jess Nobrega holds a B.Sc. in biological sciences and an E-RYT 500, and directs Yoga Science School. Josée Jarratt holds a Masters of Social Work and an RYT 500, and brings a clinical, permission-giving presence that gives every trainee room to find their own voice.

A weekend feels like
What are you actually committing your precious one-weekend-a-month to?
The shape of a weekend
Every training weekend has the same bones. Saturday and Sunday, 8am to 6pm. We open on the mat, because the body learns first. Mornings move into lecture and inquiry, the science and philosophy underneath what you just felt in practice. We break bread together at lunch, and the conversations that happen there are half the education. Afternoons belong to teaching labs, where you work with real bodies, give real feedback, and receive it. Each day closes in circle. You will leave tired in the way that means something meaningful happened, and you have four weeks to integrate before we gather again. That spacing is not a compromise. It is the design.

What does this actually change for you?
You graduate with your RYT 500, registered with Yoga Alliance, the credential studios look for when they hire for senior classes, wellness offerings, and mentorship roles. More practically, you graduate able to do things you cannot do now: read a room and adapt in real time, work confidently with injuries and health conditions, design workshop series and retreats that people pay real money for, and run the business side without guessing. And you graduate with a written plan for your first year of teaching at this level, built with us, so the momentum does not end at the ceremony. Some of our graduates will step into bigger teaching careers. Some come for the depth and never intend to teach more than they already do. Both are the point.
Tuition and payment
Tuition: $4,800 + GST. Founding cohort price: $4,300 + GST, for this inaugural cohort only. This is the first time we are running this 300 hour, and the founding cohort helps us build it. In exchange, you receive $500 off standard tuition, a graduation gift we will announce at orientation, and a seat in the cohort that shapes everything that follows. Your tuition includes all twelve weekend modules, the monthly integration calls, every training manual and reading list, your certification, and the closing graduation event. No hidden fees, no surprise material costs.
Pay in full at $4,300 + GST, or choose the payment plan: an $800 deposit holds your seat, then $875 over 4 installments.
We are proud to run our 200 hour in partnership with UBC Okanagan, and we extend a community rate of $3,800 + GST to current UBCO students and staff, with a limited number of seats at this rate each cohort.

We accept fourteen to twenty four teachers for this cohort. This starts with a conversation with Jess; we are looking for genuine curiosity, a willingness to study, and a commitment to the year.
