Come as you are 🤍 A 3-day course of slow, mindful movement in a blissful Yin Yoga bubble.
This training focuses on increasing flexibility and mobility, releasing tension stored deep in the body, and a relaxed nervous system. Learn the history of Yin yoga and principles of Yin practice. Slow, mindful movement, breath-led transitions, longer holds (and the science behind them), and cultivating mindfulness.
This 3-day course is an excellent way to deepen your knowledge and yoga practice. Targeted at deeper tissues, Yin is a wonderful balance for a more active yang style of yoga (and life!).
This isn’t about pushing or forcing. It’s about creating space.
Our schedule for the three days will look like this:
Day One – 8:30 am to 4:30 pm
Day Two – 9am to 4 pm
Day Three – 9am to 4pm
This training is for you if you have been practicing yoga for at least one year and you are looking to further expand your knowledge. You do not have to become a yoga teacher! Many of our students take our courses to learn more about themselves, to feel better and see changes, have better mobility and feel calmer in their day-to-day.
Do I have to be a yoga teacher to do this course?
NO - this is perfect for a Yin student looking for a longer opportunity to move at a gentle, steady pace, to learn more about the WHY behind the poses, the history and chakras for a more informed practice.
Are you an existing yoga teacher looking to gain more hours towards your qualifications?
YES - This 20 hour CE course will count towards continuing education for members of yoga organizations such as Yoga Alliance.
Fresh juices from Natures Fare included to keep us hydrated and nourished.
Come with an open mind and an open heart, we all share the love for this ancient practice that brings healing in so many ways.
This training is in Vernon B.C., and as all of our courses, registered with the International Yoga Alliance.
