Building Core Strength for Yoga and Life. 10:00 AM- 6:00 PM. Cost $323.40. 16 hours credit towards 500 hour YTT. Everyone is talking about the importance of core strength for injury prevention and rehabilitation and there is good reason! In yoga classes, the instructor often instructs you to "engage your core." Learning how to properly contract specific muscles not only helps to prevent injury and allow for a more stable yoga pose but a strong core can improve function for all of life's activities! Most people, including yoga instructors, do not have a deep understanding of the anatomy of these muscles and how to properly contract them.
Physiotherapist and yoga instructor, Brett Wade and Stott Pilates instructor and yoga instructor, Lori Rockl will be guiding this course. Instructors: Lori and Brett.
